"These are just our stepping stones..."

Now that the studio space was in a decent shape. It was time to spruce up the space a little. Along with starting to focus on the studio space. Private lessons were now being offered. This is a great way to set paid schedule for myself to help the studio and its endeavors.

And if you would like to help us out as well, please fell free to Venmo us or buy some merchandise (more designs coming soon).

Since winter break was over it was time to give some time to the studio space. After all, Santa dropped us off a few presents.

The cymbals are in the bag, but this drum set. It's amazing. Has an awesome sound. I would love to tear it down and reset it up.

There are a lot of things that could of gone better for set up, but you just get excited when you see a new set of drums.

They are fun to mess with and people that need a space to practice now do.

The control room was also rearranged a little bit. Adding some screens, and just clearing the junk off.

A clean space makes an awesome work space. Sadly the space is a tight squeeze, so more configuration to come.

Another thing that was done were the panels.

These panels really help with the sound and brought some decor to the space.

If you want to see the process of the panels check out this post on DIY Acoustic Panels.

It was a very tedious process but were totally worth it.

If you have time make your own (about $37 a panel).

Since the studio space was coming together, it was time to spruce it up.

That is the farthest it has gone. It is comfortable enough to invite people over and record some great stuff. I have a few friends who want to go over and decorate the place a little. Which is great because I have no taste.

There was still needed a few more gear needed to be racked up.

It is a lot of gear, but will get the job done more efficiently with higher quality products. Thank goodness for music gear resale websites.

Sadly that's all that's come of Saguaro Music.

"To them, I thank you."

The idea of becoming a music factory was still there. Producing records, distributing, helping out artists.

This year was dedicated to the hustle I couldn't find myself to do in the previous year. Getting this studio started was my main priority, getting people in the space became a priority. Making sure some income for the company was topping that.

Now, I am slowly trying to build a "fan base" or develop the "brand." There are a lot of ideas that will help musicians. I just need to get out in the public more and post more. That's what the company needs. And I miss performing with groups, so I'll see what is out there or if something can be created with enough willing participants. Saguaro Music is an outlet to help or do as many musical things possible.

I plan on streaming more. Now that I've found a lot of footage and photos that was cut from a final video project from a class. That will be fun to cringe through. And there are some fun and interesting videos about the music world, those will be fun to check out.

July is all about producing music for artists and start releasing. I have so many things that I've dabbled with, but I feel polishing them and posting them will help the business. There is so many tedious things to do. Luckily there are a lot of people supporting me and I rely on their support, confidence, and input. To them I thank you.

Saguaro Music is here. To help musicians, artists, students, anyone looking for a creative space to learn and push boundaries. These are just our stepping stones and it will take time to build on that foundation.

Plan on seeing more of us online and out in public. Buy a shirt to help us out and spread our message (we plan on designing more soon). Join our mailing list to see whats going on with this small music studio. We could use all the support we can.

Thank you for reading and until next time.
